Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.

Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song.

Our goal here at First Baptist Church is to provide a worshipful atmosphere for all of our members and guests.  This is why we have both a traditional service as well as a contemporary service.  Our traditional service is on Sunday mornings at 10:55am and our contemporary service is at 6:00pm.  We would love to see you at one or both of our Sunday services.

 

Choir:

Our sanctuary choir rehearses on Wednesday nights from 7:35-8:40pm.  We usually have an average of 15 in our choir and we sing a minimum of three Sundays a month.  Our repertoire is very diverse and extends from classical, to gospel, to contemporary.  If you enjoy singing praises to your Lord we would love to have you!

 

Praise Band:

Our Praise Band is relatively new to our music ministry.  They have been leading the Sunday evening worship services since June of 2008.  They are a group of five talented musicians that work diligently to provide a unique worship experience for everyone.

Praise the Lord.

Praise God in his Sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens.

Praise him for his acts of power;

Praise him for his surpassing greatness.

Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet,

Praise him with the harp and lyre,

Praise him with tambourine and dancing,

Praise him with the strings and flute,

Praise him with the clash of cymbals.

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
